Marketing Communications Consent

This consent explains the matters regarding the Company's collection of consent to receive, in order for Roovook Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") to transmit commercial marketing communications to Users pursuant to Article 50 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

1. Scope of Consent to Receive

The Company will transmit marketing communications by the methods specified below only to Users who have consented to this consent. This consent is optional, and refusal does not restrict use of the Company's basic services.

• Announcements of new features and benefits related to the Venue Network and Group Bookings services operated by the Company
• Provision of information on events, promotions, partnership benefits, and discount coupons
• Recommendation of personalized information and content based on the User's interests (event type, attendee scale, budget, etc.)
• Delivery of marketing content such as newsletters and industry reports
• Guidance on satisfaction surveys, questionnaires, and event participation

This consent to receive is limited to marketing communications transmitted by Roovook Inc. Marketing transmitted independently by the individual Service Provider to whom the User has submitted an inquiry is governed by the separate consent and privacy policy of such Service Provider.

4. Transmission Channels

The Company may transmit marketing communications through one or more of the following channels.

• Email
• Text messages (SMS / LMS / MMS)
• KakaoTalk AlimTalk and Kakao Channel messages (official channel name: Roovook (루북 Roovook))
• App push notifications (when using the relevant service)
• Postal mail

At the time of transmission, the Company indicates "(Advertisement)" at the beginning of the subject or body and clearly states the name of the sender (the Company) in accordance with the Information and Communications Network Act. Measures are taken so that the sender and the advertisement nature can be easily recognized on the receiving device's screen.

5. Transmission Time Restrictions

• The Company does not transmit marketing communications during nighttime hours (from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM the next day).
• However, transmissions during such hours are permitted only where the recipient has separately and expressly consented to receive during nighttime hours.

6. Withdrawal of Consent to Receive

The User may withdraw consent to receive at any time, and upon withdrawal, the Company shall notify the processing result without delay.

• Email unsubscribe: Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each marketing email
• SMS/AlimTalk unsubscribe: Reply to the toll-free unsubscribe number or click the link in accordance with the guidance at the bottom of the received message
• App push unsubscribe: Immediately disable in the app's notification settings
• Account settings withdrawal: Change at any time after logging in to the Roovook homepage, under My Information > Marketing Reception Settings
• Email inquiry withdrawal: support@roovook.com

Please note that opt-out processing may take up to 2 business days, and for messages sent before processing is completed, opt-out requests on the same channel may not be reflected.

7. Validity Period of Consent and Reconfirmation

The validity period of this consent is 2 years from the date of consent. Pursuant to Article 62-3 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Company shall confirm with the User whether to maintain the consent to receive every 2 years from the date of consent.

• If the User does not separately express intent to reconsent at the time of the reconfirmation request, this consent to receive shall automatically expire, and subsequent transmission of marketing communications shall cease.
• The reconfirmation request shall be sent via email or the same consent channel.

8. Disadvantages of Refusal to Receive

Even if you refuse or withdraw this consent to receive, there is no restriction on the use of the basic services provided by the Company. However, receipt of the following information may be restricted.

• Discount coupons and promotional benefit announcements
• New feature releases and update announcements
• Event invitations and partnership benefits

9. Sender and Contact Information

The sender of the marketing communications under this consent is Roovook Inc. alone. While messages may be sent under the brand of the Venue Network or Group Bookings services operated by the Company, the legal sender is Roovook Inc.

Inquiries, complaints, and opt-out procedures related to the receipt of marketing communications may be submitted through the above contact.

Note: This consent to receive applies only to marketing communications sent by Roovook Inc. Where an individual Service Provider to whom the User has submitted an inquiry independently sends marketing communications, such communications are governed by the separate consent collected and used by such Service Provider and by that Service Provider's privacy policy.

10. Legal Basis for Withdrawal of Consent

The User's right to withdraw consent to receive is guaranteed under Article 50(5) of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Separately from this consent, matters regarding the processing of the User's personal information are governed by the Company's Privacy Policy.
