Third-Party Information Sharing Consent

Pursuant to Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Roovook Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") provides the following scope of personal information to the Service Provider where the User has submitted inquiry or reservation information, and obtains the User's prior consent for such provision. Upon receiving the information provided under this consent, the Service Provider shall process, manage, use, and retain such information under its own responsibility as a separate personal information controller.

2. Items Provided

Among the information submitted by the User on the Sales-Engine, Venue Network, and Group Bookings pages, the following items are provided to the Service Provider.

The following items are not subject to third-party provision. They are used solely for internal analysis and security purposes by Roovook.

  • Access logs, IP addresses, device/browser information, cookies, page usage records

3. Purpose of Provision

The Service Provider uses the User's personal information for the following purposes.

  • Responding to the User's inquiry and identity verification
  • Confirming reservation availability, presenting quotations, processing reservations, and concluding contracts
  • Communication regarding reservation changes, cancellations, and confirmations
  • Consultation quality management and securing the basis for response in the event of a dispute between the User and the Service Provider (the primary purpose of call recording)
  • Providing guidance on and delivery of ancillary services requested by the User (catering, equipment, event planning, etc.)

The Service Provider may not use the User's personal information beyond the purposes listed above, and shall bear separate liability under the relevant laws in the event of a violation.

4. Retention and Use Period

  • The Service Provider shall retain the provided information only for the minimum period necessary to achieve the above purposes.
  • However, where the Service Provider bears a retention obligation for a certain period under applicable laws (e.g., the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Commercial Act), such information may be retained until the end of the applicable statutory period.
  • Retention, destruction, and security management following provision fall within the Service Provider's area of responsibility and are governed by the Service Provider's Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

5. Right to Refuse Consent and Resulting Restrictions

The User has the right to refuse consent to this third-party provision. However, as this consent is an essential procedure for the inquiry/reservation intermediation service provided by Roovook, refusal of consent will render normal use of the following services impossible.

  • Inquiries and reservations with Service Providers via Sales-Engine, Venue Network, and Group Bookings
  • Consultation reservations and phone/chat consultations

The User's personal inquiries and other services (newsletters, marketing communications, etc.) are separate from this consent, and refusal will not affect the use of such services.

6. Information on Entrusted Companies

This consent only covers third-party provision to Service Providers. Matters regarding personal information processing tasks that Roovook Inc. entrusts to external specialized companies for service operation (electronic payment processing, message delivery, call recording, and safe number services, etc.) are not subject to separate consent but are notification items, and are detailed in the Privacy Policy.

7. Method and Timing of Provision

  • At the time the User submits an inquiry on the Sales-Engine, Venue Network, or Group Bookings pages, the above items are provided to the Service Provider targeted by the inquiry.
  • Call recording files are provided upon the Service Provider's request or when specific reasons such as dispute or complaint handling arise.
  • Where the User has selected two or more Service Providers (e.g., simultaneous inquiries to multiple Spaces), the same items are provided separately to each Service Provider.

8. Identity Verification and Inquiries

Inquiries relating to this consent may be submitted through the following contact.

The User may, at any time, request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of the personal information provided to Roovook, and the Company shall take action within 10 days pursuant to Article 38 of the Personal Information Protection Act. However, with respect to information already provided to the Service Provider, a separate exercise of rights against the Service Provider may be required, and the Company shall support such guidance and connection.
